Discovering Africa

At the Lodge, one is free to experience Africa in the way that best suits him. Relax in the swimming pool and take walks around the village of Toubacouta, or take part in excursions organized and guided by the staff of the lodge, on boat or on an off-roader, on a discovery of natural oases, or of African civilization, villages on the islands, local marketplaces, traditional shows, Senegalese fighting competitions.

The delta and the beaches

Excursions at sea are no less thrilling than those on solid ground. Navigating along evocative canals among the mangroves, you will access boundless and desert beaches on the ocean. It is not a rare sight to be accompanied by marine eagles, families of pelicans, dolphins, tortoises, or antelopes resting on the sand.
